Die Berührung mit Fell und Mähne, der gutartige, vertrauensvolle Blick, das lebendige Erleben des vierbeinigen Partners weckt bei Kindern und Erwachsenen gleichermaßen die Liebe zum Tier. In diesen Momenten übertragen sich Eigenschaften wie Vertrauen, Ruhe, Stärke und Wärme auf den Menschen. Alle Schritte im therapeutischen Reiten mit dem Klienten werden so abgestimmt, dass eine Kooperation mit dem behandelnden Arzt oder Therapeuten erfolgt. So ist es für mich als Reittherapeut mit Hilfe eines Co-Therapeuten „Pferd“ möglich, Menschen mit ihren Beeinträchtigungen fachgerecht und ganzheitlich zu unterstützen. Somit kann eine Therapieeinheit als Einzel-oder Kleingruppe gestaltet werden. Reiterliche Fähigkeiten spielen hier nur eine untergeordnete Rolle.
Neben meiner Ausbildung als Tierphysiotherapeutin habe ich erfolgreich meinen Abschluss „Tierakupunktur nach traditioneller chinesischen Medizin“ erworben.
